Dam/Reservoir Hydrology and Hydraulics

Kipling Lear Farm Dam, Parker County, TX Reconstruction - Performed hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, dam hazard classification and breach analysis, design and construction services for the removal and reconstruction of the failed dam on South Bear Creek. The project consisted of a 15’ high dam, 3200 CY of fill, 880 CY of gabions, 50 CY of concrete and TCEQ Dam Safety approval of construction plans. MLC07037  Photo below.

Rocking W Ranch, Parker County, TX Upper and Lower Dams - Performed hydrologic hydraulic analysis, dam hazard classification and breach analysis design, and construction services of the construction of the Upper and Lower dams at Rocking W Ranch. The project consisted of one 15’ high dam and one 19’ high dam (upper and lower respectively) both with a normal pool 1.2 ac in size and TCEQ Dam Safety approval of construction plans. The project also included a TX-DOT access permit and Water Rights through the TCEQ. BBN06039

City of Cleburne, Texas, Upper and Lower Hulen Park Dam Rehabilitation – Performed hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, dam hazard classification and breach analysis design, and construction services of the rehabilitation of the Upper and Lower work era dams in Hulen Park. The project consisted of 380 CY of gabions, 70 CY of concrete retaining walls, TCEQ Dam Safety approval of construction plans, environmental restrictions, the addition of a low water crossing, and working modern engineering solution into a historic setting.

Saddle Creek Addition Dam Modification, Parker County TX - Performed hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, dam hazard classification and breach analysis, and design of the modification of an existing dam raising the structure to pass the 100-year storm event. ADL06026

Rufe Evans Lake Dam Inspection, Parker County TX - Performed a dam inspection, dam hazard classification, compiled a history of the 42’ high dam, and prepared a report with recommendations for repair and Engineer’s Opinion of Probable Project Cost. WEI05062
